Danvers To Host Black History Month Celebration Event

Saturday's event includes international and soul food, music, performances, and opportunities to learn more about North Shore history.

DANVERS, MA — The Friends of Danvers Human Rights and Inclusion Committee is inviting area residents to a celebration of Black History and Culture on the North Shore this Saturday at the Senior Center.

The event will feature international and soul food, music, performances and opportunities to learn more about the history of Black influence on the North Shore.

Complimentary food and beverages will be served.

The event begins at 5 p.m. at the Senior Center on Stone Street with a dance tutorial from the Afrobeats set for between 6 and 7 p.m.
