Danvers To Host Full Holiday Festival For Christmas Tree Lighting

The Dec. 2 event will include a holiday parade and entertainment in coordination with Danvers FalconFest.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers will be doing more than just flipping a switch at its annual tree lighting next month with a full night of fun planned to celebrate the season.

The event is set to begin at 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 and will include a holiday parade, entertainment and a Candy Cane Hunt at Plains Park.

The expanded tree lighting event is planned in conjunction with Danvers FalconFest, a local nonprofit whose mission is to bring back community events to the town.

FalconFest is also working on a Christmas tree bonfire for January and a return of the town fireworks for Aug. 11, 2024.
