Danvers To Host Racial Equality Discussion With Civil Rights Activist
Award-winning Civil Rights activist Joan Trumpauer Mulholland will be at the Holten Richmond School for the free event open to the public.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers will host an evening of discussion on the history of civil disobedience and the persistent battle for racial equality in the United States with award-winning Civil Rights activist Joan Trumpauer Mulholland.
Mulholland and her son, author and filmmaker Loki Mulholland, will be at the Holten Richmond School on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. where Mulholland will share her experiences working with Martin Luther King Jr. and help lead a presentation on racial equity. The event is free and open to the public.
The town is providing certified child care for the program with professionals from the Danvers Recreation Fun Club. Children eligible for care are at least 6 years old, must be pre-registered by March 1, and must have a signed parental waiver.
