Danvers Indoor Sports Facility Stabbing Suspects Charged: Police
Danvers police said a 21-year-old Revere man his 17-year-old brother are both charged with armed assault with intent to murder.
DANVERS, MA — A 21-year-old Revere man and his 17-year-old brother are facing armed assault with intent to murder charges in the stabbing of a staff member at the Danvers Indoor Sports Facility on Andover Street Wednesday night.
Danvers police said Crismael Lithgow, 21, of Revere, and his 17-year-old brother are also charged with a knife and assault and battery with a shod foot following an altercation with the staff member about 11 p.m.
Police said the staff member suffered non-fatal injuries.

Danvers police said they arrived to a report of a man saying he was being attacked at the facility and found the staff member running from the building. Police said the two brothers were immediately taken into custody after the victim showed officers three large cuts to his back that were approximately eight to 10 inches long.
According to court testimony, the cuts were deep and actively bleeding. The staff member was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Peabody and Middleton police, as well as Massachusetts State Police K-9 Unit, assisted in the investigation.
Lithgow pleaded not guilty in Salem District Court Thursday morning. The 17-year-old was to be arraigned in Salem Juvenile Court Thursday morning as well.
