Danvers Man Charged With OUI While On Probation For OUI

Brian Flynn, 47, of Danvers, was placed on probation for his second drunk driving offense last month.

DANVERS, MA -- A Salem District Court judge ordered a Danvers man be held without bail after he was arrested for drunk driving a month after pleading guilty and being placed on two years probation for his second drunk driving arrest. Police say Brian Flynn, 47, of 3 Gould Street in Danvers, had a blood alcohol content of .385 -- nearly five times higher than the legal limit -- when he was arrested around 4 pm on Oct. 9. Police had rfeceived a call alerting them that Flynn was driving.

The arrest, according to the Salem News, which first reported this story, came less than a month after Flynn's guilty plea. In addition to the probation, Flynn's license was suspended for two years stemming from the Aug. 20 arrest, when he registered a blood alcohol content of .346 at 10 am in the morning.
