Danvers Man Dies Off Nahant Coast

DANVERS, MA — A Danvers man diving off the coast of East Point in Nahant has died, authorities said.

The Essex County District Attorney's office identified the man as 38-year-old Vinicius Vianna, according to the Salem News.

Police say a woman reported two scuba divers, including one unresponsive diver in the water Saturday afternoon. Both were taken to the hospital. Vianna was pronounced dead and the other man was treated for exhaustion.

The death is under investigation but is not considered suspicious.
