Danvers Man Found Dead From Gunshot Wound: Essex DA
The Essex County District Attorney's Office said the man was found inside a Bradstreet Avenue home after a large police response.
DANVERS, MA — A man was found dead from a single gunshot wound inside a Danvers home early Thursday after reports of a possibly suicidal person drew a large police response.
The Essex County District Attorney's Office said police responded to the home on Bradstreet Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. The Essex DA's Office said police heard a gunshot coming from the multi-family home, and when they entered the home, they found a 29-year-old man dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Beverly police and the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council assisted at the scene.

"The incident remains an active and ongoing investigation being conducted by Massachusetts State Police troopers assigned to Tucker's office, the Danvers Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, the Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services Section and Ballistics Section, and the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner," the Essex DA's Office said.
