Danvers Man Injured in I-95 Crash

MassDOT says the man was at a construction site prior to the crash.

DANVERS, MA — A Danvers man was injured during a car crash on Interstate 95 in Weston.

At around 2 a.m. Friday, a Melrose man allegedly rear-ended the vehicle of a worker for the state's Department of Transportation vehicle near Exit 25 on the southbound side of the highway, according to the Boston Globe.

The worker in the car, a 62-year-old Danvers man, was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The Melrose man was also transported to the hospital.

The Danvers man was recently working at a construction site near the site, MassDOT said.

The crash is under investigation.
