Danvers Police Add August Gun Permit Dates
Danvers police will conduct gun permitting for residents on Aug. 24 this month.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers police has added two gun permit days for August.
Police will conduct the firearms permitting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 12 and Aug. 24 (EDITOR'S NOTE: This date is a correction from earlier publication).
Applicants are reminded that dates may have to be postponed or canceled because of a scheduling necessity or active investigation.

Residents can check for updates or any changes here.
Applicants are encouraged, but not required to, mail in their applications and supporting documentation to the station. You may also scan the completed application and supporting documentation to firearms@danversma.gov prior to coming into the station.

If the applicant doesn't have this capability, bring all required documents on the day you chose to be processed.
Applicants must follow all coronavirus-related guidelines at the time of their appointment.
