Danvers Police Gun Permit Dates For October

Danvers police have added two dates for processing this month.

DANVERS, MA — The Danvers Police Department will conduct firearms permitting on two dates in October.

Processing will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on this upcoming Monday and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Applicants are reminded that dates may have to be postponed or canceled because of a scheduling necessity or active investigation.

Residents can check for updates or any changes here.

Applicants are encouraged, but not required to, mail in their applications and supporting documentation to the station. You may also scan the completed application and supporting documentation to firearms@danversma.gov prior to coming into the station.

If the applicant doesn't have this capability, bring all required documents on the day you chose to be processed.

Applicants must follow all coronavirus-related guidelines at the time of their appointment.
