'A Visible And Approachable Presence': Danvers Police Officer Joins Essex Tech
Officer Chris Freepartner, a Peabody resident, joins Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School in the new campus role.

DANVERS, MA — Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School has named Officer Chris Freepartner of the Danvers Police Department as its new School Resource Officer.
Freepartner has served with the Danvers Police Department since 2024, where he has worked as a patrol officer and field training officer. Before joining the department, he served as a correctional officer with the Essex County Sheriff’s Department and in the United States Marine Corps.
School officials said Freepartner also brings experience in the skilled trades, a background the school said connects naturally with Essex Tech students as they explore technical careers and prepare for their futures. He previously worked as a project manager and field technician with Superheat FGH and as a pile driver with Carpenters Local 578.
