Danvers Police Put Out Call For Crossing Guards
The Danvers Police Department is seeking help from those who want to help make sure students get in and out of their schools safely.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers is seeking motivated residents interested in taking on the role of crossing guard for one of the town's schools.
The Danvers Police Department is looking for candidates with a valid driver's license who can perform the physical demands of the job — which consist of walking and standing up for periods of an hour in varying types of weather.
Applicants will be subjected to a CORI test and will need to be fingerprinted.
