Danvers Power Outage Puts Nearly 2K Residents In Dark On Wednesday

DANVERS, MA — A Danvers power outage put nearly 2,000 customers in the dark and the cold on a chilly morning Wednesday.

The Danvers Department of Public Works said Wednesday morning that the outage affected about 1,877 customers in the areas of North Street, Summer Street and Cherry Hill.

Crews were working to restore the power around mid-morning.

Residents are encouraged to use their phones to check for updates on the town's new Outage Management System.
