Danvers Public School is Requested to hold a Parent Forum

Two parents spoke at the Danvers School Committee Meeting of March 13, 2023. Their main concern was that current school department meetings do not allow sufficient time for parents and taxpayers to express their views/questions/concerns . The DPS (Danvers Public School) needs to sponsor a specific forum for parents to openly discuss, and have an extended public dialogue. I suggest a "town hall" style meeting in the following or similar format:
1. Have a panel with all appropriate school officials, including department heads and curriculum directors present on the DHS auditorium stage.
2. Have the parents identify two moderators responsible for focusing the parents' and the community's questions directed to the School Panel.
3. The main focus of the forum will be the communication from the parents and community to the DPS.
Hopefully the school department can plan to sponsor this parent and community town hall forum in April or May before the end of the school year. I would be more than happy to help in the planning of this event.
