Danvers Recreation, Public Works In Need Of Summer Student Help
Those interested in applying for part-time and full-time seasonal jobs are encouraged to apply now.
DANVERS, MA —Danvers high school and college students looking for seasonal employment this summer are encouraged to apply for openings with the Danvers Recreation and the Department of Public Works.
The Recreation camp counselor positions are responsible for overseeing the safety of all camp participants and leading parties, activities and crafts for elementary-age campers. Some openings may be sport- or task-specific.
Those who are applying must be at least 16 years by the start of the summer and possess a valid American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR certification. Positions range from 16 to 40 hours per week and pay between $14.75 and $20 per hour.

The Danvers DPW has openings in buildings, grounds, streets and water. Summer positions begin in June and continue for 13 weeks. These are 40-hour-per-week positions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.
Those applying to the DPW must be 18 years old by the summer and have at least a basic knowledge of hand and power tools such as hammers, shovels and power saws. A valid driver's license and favorable CORI.

Pay is $17 per hour in the DPW. These are non-benefit positions.
