Danvers Route 128 North Crash Cleared, 3-Mile Residual Backup

DANVERS, MA — A multi-vehicle crash got the Monday afternoon commute off to a rough start on Route 128 North in Danvers.

The state Department of Transportation said that the crash happ3ened in the area of Exit 41.

The left travel lane was closed with delays up to three miles as of about 2:30 p.m., according to Mass DOT.

The state DOT said the crash was cleared as of about 3:15 p.m. but the residual three-mile backup remained.
