Danvers Select Board To Hold Property Tax Hearing Tuesday Night

The meeting will determine how the town's taxes will be divided between residential, commercial, industrial and personal properties.

DANVERS, MA —The property tax rate in Danvers for Fiscal Year 2022 will be determined during the Select Board's meeting on Tuesday.

The Select Board will hold its annual classification heart during which it will determine the percentages of the tax level each class of property will bear. The residential factor determines the percentage of taxes on residential property, with the balance to be paid through commercial, industrial and personal property tax.

The meeting will be held in the Daniel J. Toomey room at 1 Sylvan Street at 6 p.m.
