Danvers Senior Center To Host Senior Circuit Breaker Tax Change Talk

State Rep. Sally Kerans (D-Danvers) will co-host the event about the potential benefits of the tax change for North Shore seniors.

DANVERS, MA — North Shore seniors are invited to the Danvers Senior Center on March 11 to learn about the potential benefits of the new Senior Circuit Breaker tax changes passed into law this past year.

State Rep. Sally Kerans (D-Danvers) will co-host the event with the state Department of Revenue's Brian Lynch from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Senior Center on Stone Street.

The event is free and open to the public.

"The Senior Circuit Breaker was one of several tax changes we passed and the governor signed last year and I'm delighted that Brian Lynch of the DOR, who has three decades of experience with tax credits, can join us to provide the public with detailed information about who benefits from it," Kerans said.

Light refreshements will be served.
