Danvers Sets Household Hazardous Waste Day At High School

The Nov. 21 drop-off event at Danvers High School is free for residents and open to non-residents for a fee.

Danvers will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Danvers High School parking lot on Cabot Road.

The town said the event is free for Danvers residents and gives people a place to safely dispose of old paints, cleaners and chemicals.

The event is a drop-off only program. There will be no curbside pickup. Residents are asked to load materials into a car, drive up and open the trunk for collection.
