"Additional snowfall is expected, and with snow already on the ground, this parking ban is necessary to support effective snow removal operations and to maintain safe, passable, and properly widened streets," Danvers DPW said.
Downtown businesses will remain open and operating during the parking ban.
Off-street parking options will remain available to accommodate customers and employees, and access to downtown will be maintained throughout snow removal operations, according to the DPW.
