Danvers Teen Faces Charge of Meth Trafficking
A 17-year-old Danvers male allegedly had meth, marijuana and a distribution setup inside his home.

A Danvers teen is facing serious drug charges, including trafficking methamphetamine.
The Salem News reports that Riley Fraser, 17, of 11 Poplar St., Danvers, was arrested Monday at his home and arraigned Tuesday in Salem District Court after Danvers police and the Drug Enforcement Administration wrapped up a monthlong investigation.
Police found about an ounce of methamphetamine (or meth) at Fraser's home, along with seven ounces of marijuana, scales, plastic bags and $2,500 in cash, reports the Salem News. The meth was reportedly found in gel caps.

Fraser pleaded not guilty to charges of trafficking meth and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. His attorney told the judge it wasn't meth, but rather a legal nonprescription drug and said he was confident lab testing would prove it.
Bail was set at $5,000 and Fraser is due back for a probable cause hearing on May 13, reports the Salem News. He is currently a student at North Shore Community College, according to his attorney.
