Danvers Truck Day Returns To Endicott Park For 2026

The long-running touch-a-truck event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes a sensory-friendly hour.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers will host the annual Truck Day on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Endicott Park, offering families a chance to get up close to more than 100 vehicles and pieces of equipment.

Danvers' Truck Day is the region's first, largest and longest-running touch-a-truck gathering. The event draws thousands of families and brings together public safety vehicles, public service equipment and trucks operated by private contractors.

The event is designed to give the community a hands-on way to connect with the people and equipment that help keep Danvers operating day to day.

Attendees will be able to climb into the driver's seat, explore the showcased equipment and learn from operators about their roles in the community.

Those roles include helping keep the community safe, clean and running smoothly. The setup is aimed at creating an interactive environment where children and adults can see the vehicles up close and ask questions directly of the operators.

This year's Truck Day will also include a designated sensory-friendly hour from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. That hour is intended to support people who are sensitive to loud noises, crowds or overwhelming stimulation.

During that time, operators have been asked to keep sirens, horns and engines off. The sensory-friendly period adds a quieter option near the end of the event for families who may want a lower-stimulation visit.

Chick-fil-A of the Northshore Mall is providing meals for drivers attending the event.
