Discount Prom Dress Event Set For Danvers Liberty Tree Mall Saturday

The Rock the Spectrum Foundation said hundreds of dresses will be available for between $20 and $50 to help make proms more inclusive.

DANVERS, MA — North Shore students on a budget — or simply those who want to go to the prom without spending hundreds of dollars on a new dress — are invited to shop the hundreds of prom dresses that will be available at the Shop the Spectrum Foundation's Prom Dress Drive event this Saturday at the Liberty Tree Mall.

Shop the Spectrum said hundreds of dresses, shoes, bags and accessories have been donated with dresses running between $20 and $50, bags and shoes at $10 each and costume jewelry at $5 each.

Cocktail dresses will also be available for $10 for anyone heading to an upcoming wedding or spring party.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the mall in front of the Northeast Arc's parcel store.
