DIScover Summer Camp Open House

Saturday, March 12 11am-1pm at Danvers Indoor Sports

Danvers Indoor Sports invites the community to DIScover Summer Camp open house on Saturday, March 12 11am-1pm. Families will meet the Camp Director, learn about the exciting programs planned for this summer and can take advantage of early bird, volume and sibling discounts! DIScover Summer Camp dates are June 27-August 26, 2016.

DIScover Summer Camp is for boys and girls ages 6-12 of all athletic abilities. The camp day is from 9am-3pm with the option for morning and afternoon extended care. In addition to traditional summer camp activities, campers will receive individualized instruction and develop skills across a variety of games and sports including soccer, dodgeball, balloon volleyball, gaga-ball and outdoor water games. Campers will also develop teambuilding and social skills, and learn about the importance of being physically active and making healthy choices. Specialist activities, theme days, and special performers are a great addition to the summer camp experience!

Joining DIScover Summer Camp at the Open House will be the following DIS partners: Aztec Soccer, DIS Field Hockey, Eastern Basketball, Gymja Warrior, Origin Lacrosse, Project Adventure, Repertoire Fitness, and Skillz Check Soccer Academy. Danvers Indoor Sports is a state-of-the-art indoor sports facility, dedicated to providing youth with a safe environment in which to be active year-round. DIS promotes sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse and field hockey and offers sports and activities throughout the year. These resources and programs teach children how to work as a team to achieve a common goal, encourage healthy competition and support positive physical and emotional self-esteem.
