Elderly Danvers Man Sold Illegal Smoke Bombs, Fireworks: Police
Timothy Donovan, 74, was arrested Sunday at a flea market.

An elderly Danvers man on Sunday was charged with selling illegal smoke bombs at the Hollis Flea Market.
Timothy Donovan, 74, of 9 Brentwood Cir., was charged with selling fireworks without a license, a misdemeanor. The smoke bombs warranted a violation, police said.
Police said they received numerous complaints about Donovan, leading them to launch an investigation. Donovan was released on $2,500 bail. He’s due in Nashua District Court July 8.

In New Hampshire, fireworks can only be sold at licensed retail stores. There are 27 such locations across the state. A list can be found here.
