Elementary School Fire Under Investigation In Danvers

DANVERS, MA -- A small fire in the fourth-grade girls bathroom prompted the evacuation of the Ivan G. Smith Elementary School on Lobao Drive Tuesday afternoon. Fire officials told the Salem News, which first reported this story, that the "was causing more smoke than flame" and was quickly put out. No damage or injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
