Essex County Jail To Now Require Appointments For Inmate Visits
The Essex County Sheriff's Department said that appointments for friends and family visits will be required as of April 1.

MIDDLETON, MA — Friends and family members looking to visit those incarcerated at the Essex County House of Correction in Middleton will need to first make an appointment to do so starting on April 1.
The Essex County Sheriff's Office said the appointments will be required for the Middleton facilities.
Those wishing to visit an inmate will be required to call 978-750-1900 Ext. 3472 between 24 and 48 hours in advance of an intended visit. Appointments can be made starting on March 30.
