The Larkin Cottage was built in 1950 and upon restoration will serve as a historical museum, service kitchen, office space, exhibit hall, learning lab and function space at the regional technical school.

Career technical education students, working with local trade companies, have been involved in all aspects of the design and construction of the cottage.
