CALLING ALL DRUM CORPS ALUMS, MARCHING BAND MEMBERS and NORTH SHORE MUSICIANS and GUARD!!
Please join us for the RElaunch of a performing arts opportunity as we relaunch the Arbella Drum & Bugle Corps of Salem Massachusetts at our innaugural Open House, Friday Night January 27, from 7 to 10 at the Old Town Hall in Salem on Front Street.
Back in the 60s and 70s drum corps flourished here on the North Shore. Nearly every town had a corps of their own, a corps that was the pride of their city. The Crusaders! North Star! Citations! Diplomats! The 27th Lancers! The Cardinals! Arbella! to name just a few.... But on the 80's many succumbed to financial pressure and now, there are just a small handful of active or alumni groups in the area.

If you've ever marched, one thing is for sure, drum corps might be gone, but it never leaves YOU.
At the Arbella 30th reunion this summer, a few dedicated alumni and instructors got together and shared their common dream: to bring Arbella back. And so our journey began.
We invite any drum corps alumni, any marching band member or brass/percussion musician, color guard/dancer, friends, family and local businesses to join us to relaunch the pride and class of Salem, the Arbella.
