Come out for the fun of the second annual Chocolate Walk sponsored by the Danvers Bi-Peds. Charles Lincicum, the leader, ordered more than enough snow for the event so bring your skis, snowshoes or boots. The walk will leave from Putnamville Playground. Due to the snow banks along the road, we have been looking for places to park rather than along the street. We are awaiting verification from the school department that people may park at the Putnamville School at the corner of Locust and Wenham streets and walk back to the trail. The venture down the trail will go to Rt. 97, about 3.5 miles round trip. For those who don’t want to go that far, they can go as far as they like.
Hot chocolate and chocolate treats will be offered at the end and for anyone who thinks they may need a massage after such an outing, a special raffle of a ½ hour massage has been donated by Tranquil Garden Massage and Bodyworks, 130 Centre St., Danvers, Karen Kilty, LMT.
The trail should look like a winter wonderland and someone, perhaps you, will be the winner of a massage. For more information call 978-774-8159 or email ibarry@danversbipeds.org.
