Free film screening: "Fed Up"

Join North Shore United Way's Women in Action initiative for a free public screening of Stephanie Soechtig's documentary, FED UP.

The film, narrated by Katie Couric, focuses on the causes of childhood obesity in the US, including the impact of sugar and the forceful lobbying efforts of the food industry.

Following the screening, there will be a brief moderated discussion featuring Sharon Weston of Boston Children’s Hospital.

When: Thursday, March 12, from 8:30-10:30AM
Where: Shore Country Day School, 545 Cabot Street, Beverly.
