Girls’ Lacrosse Faces Wayland First in Playoffs

The Lady Falcons’ lacrosse team is headed into the North Division II Tournament, seeded No. 8 at a 13-5 record.

Danvers went undefeated this season within the Northeast Conference (10-0) and now faces Wayland on June 1 at home. Wayland is seeded No. 9 with a 10-7-1 record.

Wednesday's first-round game is scheduled for 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals and play either Ipswich, St. Mary’s of Lynn or Arlington Catholic. The two Catholic schools will battle it out in a preliminary round game on Saturday to then face Ipswich on Tuesday.
