Girls Lacrosse Loses to Wayland 23-15 in Second Half Surge

Leading 11-8 at the end of the first half, Danvers was outscored 15-4 in the second, eliminating them from the state tournament.

Still, the team saw success this season, accomplishing their first goal of making it to the tournament, according to Coach Julie Bevad. The team was "learning and growing every day," she said. Despite the fact that they "started off a little weak," Bevad said the team got better, worked harder, fixed the glitches, and ultimately learned from their mistakes. 

The team said goodbye to four graduating seniors, two of whom will be playing lacrosse at the collegiate level at Assumption College.
