Goats Help Clear Way for Danvers Dog Park
The animals helped get rid of some weeds and poison ivy in the under construction dog park.

DANVERS, MA — They may have four legs but they were not the type of animals that one would expect in the Danvers Dog Park.
This week, the Danvers DPW brought in 20 goats to help get rid of weeds and poison ivy, according to the Salem News. It only took 24 hours for the goats to get rid of the undesired plants, munching away at everything.
Work on the dog park began in March and is almost done. There is no opening date but the Friends of Danvers Dog Park are targeting mid-September.
