Help Danvers Firefighters Fill the Boot This Saturday

Firefighters will be in Danvers Square to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

DANVERS, MA — This Saturday, members of the Danvers Fire Department want you to fill their boots to help fight muscular dystrophy.

The firefighters will be at Danvers Square from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday morning, according to MDA organizer Adam Strome. Drivers going into the square will be asked by the boot-carrying firefighters to put a donation into the boot.

All proceeds collected will go to the MDA, who funds research for muscle-debilitating diseases like muscular dystrophy and ALS.
