Holy Week at All Saints of the North Shore
All Saints celebrates Holy Week and Easter -- all faiths are welcome.
All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore, with the Rev. Marya DeCarlen, officiating, will offer the following Holy Week and Easter services. All faiths are welcome to join us.
Please note, there will be one service only on Palm Sunday, March 29, and Easter Sunday, April 5.
PALM SUNDAY-– MARCH 29 --THE SUNDAY OF THE PASSION –One Worship Service 10:00 a.m. Liturgy of the Palms and Procession around All Saints neighborhood followed by a dramatic reading of the Passion and Holy Eucharist.
MAUNDY THURSDAY - April 2 -- 6 p.m. Simple Agape Meal in the parish hall (soups, hummus, vegetables, dried fruits and fresh fruits) followed by the service of hand and foot washing, Holy Eucharist, and stripping of the altar. The Chapel will be set up as the Garden of Gethsemane from 9:00 p.m to 6 a.m.
GOOD FRIDAY - April 32 p.m. - Meditations on the Cross and Good Friday Liturgy. No Holy Eucharist.
THE GREAT VIGIL OF EASTER - April 4 -- 5 p.m. - We begin by sharing the Easter paschal fire in front of All Saints Church followed by the Service of Light, Word, Holy Baptism, and first Holy Eucharist of Easter.
EASTER DAY - April 5 --One Worship Service at 10 a.m. Festival Holy Eucharist with trumpet and organ. Easter egg hunt with 600 eggs will take place after 10 a.m. service! Bring your children and their friends!
