How To Recycle Your Christmas Tree In Danvers

DANVERS, MA — Attached to your Christmas tree? Need a nudge on taking the tinsel and the lights down? Well, the folks over at Danvers Town Hall have given you a deadline. Christmas Tree Pickup is scheduled for Saturday, January 13.

That's it, folks. One day only. Officials are reminding residents that trees should be free of tinsel, ornaments and plastic bags. So if you use a plastic bag to take your tree out of the house, unwrap it when you leave it on the curb.

And speaking of curbs, trees should be out by the curb by 7 a.m. Jan. 13.
