Incumbents Win In Quiet Danvers Election
With just one, town-wide contested race on the ballot, voter turnout barely broke four percent.
DANVERS, MA — Just 902 voters, or 4.3 percent of the town's total registered voters made it to the polls for the Danvers Town Election Tuesday. In the only town-wide, contested race, incumbent library trustees Natalie Luca Fiore, Frank Herschede and Julie Curtis were all reelected, fending off a challenge from Deborah Sauer. The only other contested races were in Precincts 4 and 5, where there were contested races for town meeting member.
