International Survivors of Suicide Day Conference and Healing Gathering

A gathering of hope and healing for all who have experienced the pain of loss by suicide ... because reaching out can change your life.

All are welcome to attend this one day conference of healing and comfort designed to provide support and understanding by sharing stories of healing and hope, at All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore, 46 Cherry Street, Danvers, MA. from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants are welcome to bring photos and other small mementos to share aspects of loved ones who have been lost to suicide. A candle lighting ceremony of remembrance will be included in the day’s event. Registration begins at 9:30, followed by welcome and introductions, small group breakout sessions, a noon showing of the video, “the Journey,” created by the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, a light lunch at noon, followed by a candlelight ceremony and closing.

A Dog B.O.N.E.S. Therapy Dog team will be present on site to provide “petting real estate” and to offer gentle comfort and a soothing presence.

This North Shore Conference & Healing Location in Massachusetts, is part of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Annual International Survivors of Suicide Day, and is hosted by by Hayley’s Hope Foundation,
