Kayak Event to Raise Awareness, Benefit South Sudan
Annual kayaking event will help raise awareness and funds to support agricultural projects in South Sudan.
On Saturday, September 19, at Lynch Park in Beverly, Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church will host their annual kayaking event from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a pizza lunch will follow. This event has been dubbed “Take to the seas for the South Sudanese!” There is no charge but all participants are invited to make a donation to benefit the Anglican Relief & Development Fund (ARDF). All funds raised will be going to support ARDF’s agricultural project, which aids farmers in South Sudan (Read More: http://anglicanaid.net/projects/south-sudan-families-benefit-income-food-stability/). There will also be representatives there from ARDF to explain this project and more about their work around the globe.
