Kids at All Saints Episcopal North Shore Learn to Share from their Abundance
Sunday School children offer portion of their Trick or Treat candy to Operation Troop Support and invite Danvers community to do so too!

Cheerful giving is something parishioners at All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore have been practicing as part of its grateful and responsible use of God’s gifts -- giving back to God from what we have been given.
To help our Sunday School children better understand the concept of good Christian Stewardship, our priest, the Rev. Marya DeCarlen, suggested that the children think about “tithing” from their collected Trick or Treat candy stash this year, by taking 10 percent of their delectable goodies and donating them to Operation Troop Support, the Danvers-based nonprofit organization that helps troops and their extended families, sending care packages to soldiers who are risking their lives overseas.
Candy donated by the children -- and by members of the entire All Saints parish -- this Sunday will provide a sweet opportunity to share treasures with a glad and open heart.
The children of All Saints invite members of the Danvers community to do so as well.
