Liberty Street Causeway Closes to Traffic on April 18
The closure is scheduled to remain in effect until August 18.

Danvers, MA - The Liberty Street Causeway will be closed to all traffic beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday, April 18 as the town kicks off construction season.
This closure will be limited to the over-water section of the roadway from just south of Bunky’s Marina to just north of Popes Landing. The closure will remain in effect from April 18 to August 18. This will be the second and last road closure for the construction project, according to Danvers public works officials.
During the closure, through traffic on Liberty Street will be detoured to Rt-128 via High Street (Rt-35) and to Elliot Street (Rt-62). Two way traffic will remain on Liberty Street to the north and south of the closure limits.
