Month-Long Bridge Repair Work Scheduled to Start Sunday

Bridge repair will take place on I95 northbound over Route 62, Maple Street, by the Danvers Plaza Shopping Center.

Route 62 (Maple Street) eastbound will be reduced to one travel lane at the I95 overpass bridge. The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow work crews to perform essential bridge repairs.

The left travel lane will be closed with Jersey barriers to protect the temporary work zone which will include a shoring tower to facilitate steel beam end repairs and concrete pier cap repairs.

The work is scheduled to begin on the evening on Sunday, August 2 and continue through Monday, August 31,
