Nearly 500 In Danvers Without Power Monday
The Danvers Department of Public Works said approximately 476 residents had no power Monday afternoon.

DANVERS, MA — Nearly 500 Danvers customers were left without power on Monday afternoon.
The Danvers Department of Public Works said 476 residents in the area of Ash, Lawrence, Holten, Purchas and Peabody Avenue were in the dark for a couple of hours.
No reason was given for the outage, but Danvers DPW said it was expected to be resolved by late in the afternoon.
