No School for Danvers High School on March 1
School Committee votes to change school calendar to accommodate high number of voters on the presidential primary day.
Danvers, MA - At Monday night’s regular school committee meeting, the members voted to amend the 2015-2016 Danvers public school caalendar giving all Danvers High School students a “no school day” on Tuesday, March 1 to accommodate the high number of voters expected to vote in the 2016 Presidential Primary at Danvers High School.
Danvers High teachers will participate in professional development on that day. The day will be made up on May 27 for high school students when the rest of the district’s students has the day off for teacher professional development.
