Obituary: Ann B. (Carey) Letourneau, Worked at General Electric for 40 Years

Graduated from St. Mary's Commercial school

Ann B. (Carey) Letourneau of Danvers and formerly of Salem passed away peacefully on Friday December 5, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Thomas F. Carey and Jane Levesque and step daughter of the late Theodore Sauvageau. She was the loving wife of forty-eight years of Lonnie C. Letourneau of Danvers. Ann was a graduate of St. Mary’s Commercial school. Her greatest joy was in working at General Electric, where she advanced each job grade. Ann worked her way from clerk to executive secretary and ended up working the last forty years in management. In addition to her husband Lonnie, she is survived by her four sisters, Marie (Carey) Murano of Peabody, Margaret (Carey) Gauthier of Salem, Dorothy (Carey) (Tremblay) Blatsos of Saugus and Patricia (Carey) Meniates of CA.She and Lonnie traveled to many places such as Alaska, Jerusalem, Ireland, Greece, as well as Bermuda, Nassau and many other lovely places. She was also a volunteer at North Shore Medical Ctr. Her goal : Achieve a 2000-hour pin by working four hours per week. She was a member of Salem Chapter 2454 of AARP and member of GEOTA.Ann is survived by her loving nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces as well as friends.Visitation on Wednesday in The Mackey Funeral Home, Middleton Facility from 3-7pm. Funeral Mass Thursday at 11am St. Mary’s Danvers.
