Obituary: Aubrey "Whitey" Cole, Proprietor of Cole Construction Co. of Danvers

Aubrey “Whitey” Cole 89, of Danvers, beloved husband of the late Gloria L. (Allen) Cole, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage, died Friday, June 5th, 2015 at Beverly Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Monmouth, Maine, he was the son of the late George H. and Flossie May (Lawrence) Cole. He was raised and educated in Maine.

Mr. Cole had been the proprietor of Cole Construction Company of Danvers for several years prior to the time of his retirement.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, Whitey will be deeply missed. He was dedicated to his family and friends. He enjoyed spending his time with his beloved wife and all of his family. He was ultimately proud of all of their accomplishments.

He is survived by his daughters, Charlene DeStasio and her husband Joseph of Peabody and Sharon Capello and her husband William of Danvers, his sons, Allen Cole and his wife Victoria of Danvers and Randy Cole and his wife Lisa of Danvers, his 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, his brother Linwood Cole of Danvers and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Sadie Heal, Kay “Bessie” Clark, Wesley Cole and Leland Cole.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Wednesday June 10th, at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours Tuesday, June 9th, from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 60 Walnut St., Wellesley, MA 02481.
