Obituary: Carmella "Cam" Marie (Peduto) Bourque, Had a Love of Decorating

Carmella “Cam” Marie (Peduto) Bourque 86, of Danvers formally of Stoughton, Lynn, and Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Thursday morning January 29, 2015 at the Blueberry Hill Nursing Home in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Carmella was born in Malden and moved to Stoughton, Ma at the age of four after the death of her father. Moving to Lynn after high school she attended trade school in Lynn for fashion design. She met Leo Bourque and was married and raised their two children as a stay at home mom until her children were grown. She worked at Sullivan’s Curtain Shop in Lynn for many years and later worked for Burlington Coat Factory in Peabody. She had a love for decorating and she delighted in helping her family and friends decorate their homes as well as her own.

She and her husband Leo, enjoyed entertaining and throwing parties for any occasion at their home in Lynn. She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her 5 grandchildren. Carmella moved to Delaware eight years ago to be near her daughter. She moved back to Danvers two years ago due to health issues. She is survived by her son Richard D. Bourque, wife Susan of Rowley, daughter Cheryl A. Lugo(Bourque) of Delaware her grandchildren, Melissa Butts and husband Jason , Rachelle Bourque , Christopher Bourque , Adriana Lugo and Thomas Lugo And one great granddaughter Jocelyn Butts She was predeceased by her loving husband of 36 years Leo N. Bourque, Her mother Antonina (Lena) Peduto, her father Cosmo Peduto, her brothers Vincent Peduto and Paul Peduto and her sister Ann Barr.

Visitation will be on Tuesday February 3rd from 4 to7pm at the Mackey Funeral home in Middleton, 128 S. Main St., Rt 114. Funeral Mass only on Wednesday at 9am in St. Mary’s Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial at Annunciation cemetery.
