Obituary: Frank Peter Costa Sr., Educator at the Former Essex Agricultural Institute in Danvers for 25 Years

Frank Peter Costa Sr., 89, of Beverly, beloved husband of Norma (Scott) Costa, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 11th, 2015 at Essex Park Nursing Home in Beverly.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Serra) Costa. He was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School. He continued his education attending trade school over the years.

An honorably discharged veteran, Frank served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Costa had been employed as an Educator at the former Essex Agricultural Institute in Danvers for over 25 years retiring in 1984. He then was employed by Clemenzi Industrial Park in Beverly retiring in 2000.

A longtime resident of the City of Beverly, Frank was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and loved to travel with his wife. He was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Beverly.

Frank is survived by his wife Norma (Scott) Costa of Beverly, his daughter, Beth Ann Costa-Howland and her husband Douglass of Haverhill, his sons, Frank Costa Jr. of Beverly, Richard Costa and his wife Diana of Brunswick, Maine and John Costa and his wife Ruth of Beverly, his 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Friday, Jan 16th at 10 A.M.. Relatives and friends invited.
