Obituary: Iva Norma (Mudge) Lipinski, Worked With Her Husband on Family Farm, Lipinski's

Iva Norma (Mudge) Lipinski, 98, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2014, to go and meet her beloved husband Frank, with whom she shared over forty years of marriage.
Born in Lynn on June 20, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lyman II and Violet (Hamlin) Mudge. She was raised and educated in Haverhill. She had been a Danvers resident for nearly forty years, and had resided in Middleton since 1979. Norma enjoyed square dancing and round dancing. She loved gardening and worked with her husband Frank on her family farm, Lipinski’s for many years. She had been a member of the Danvers Garden Club and Our Ladies Sodality. She also volunteered as a nurse’s aide at the former Hunt Memorial Hospital.

Besides her late husband Frank Lipinski, she was predeceased by her seven siblings, Henry, Wallace, John and Hazel Mudge and Barbara Gnaedringer, Gloria Knowles and Pearl Arsenault. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and especially enjoyed being called “Grandma Norma” by her beloved great grandniece Harlowe Bea Tierney.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30AM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Saint Agnes Church, 22 Boston St., Middleton. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. At Norma’s request there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Norma’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
